Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks

These cheesy garlic breadsticks are so easy to make. These are cheesy, garlicky and way better than takeout!

  • Oven


  • 1/2 recipe pizza dough prepared
  • 1 1/4 cup mozzarella shredded

Butter mix

  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil


  • Preheat your oven to 400 F.
  • Roll out the prepared pizza dough in a rectangular shape about 1/2 an inch thick. Transfer to a baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl add all the ingrdients listed under butter mix andmix to combine. Spread over the rolled out dough as evenly as possible. Spread over the shredded cheese. bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.


Variations. If you want to replace the garlic powder for fresh garlic, use 1 crushed garlic clove.
You can also mix up the dried herbs. I've used thyme, rosemary and parsley as well. 
I love mozzarella for the cheese pull, but you can multiple chefs blends. Monterey Jack is great. Or a mix of cheddar and mozzarella. 
Baking. For the best bake, make sure the oven is preheated before you place your breadsticks in.
