Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Course: Snack
Cuisine: Pakistani

Ingredients

  • 2 apples diced
  • 2 peaches diced
  • 1 cup grapes halved
  • 2 bananas sliced
  • 3/4 cup chickpeas optional
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp laal mirch chili powder
  • 1 tbsp chaat masala
  • 1.5 cups pink guava juice

Method

  1. Chop all the fruit and add it to a large bowl
  2. Add all the spices and juice and mix together. Adjust the flavors if you feel you need to add more cumin. Then enjoy. You can refrigerate this in an airtight container. Consume within two days, because the bananas and peaches will become mushy.

Notes

Notes:
If you want to make this ahead of time, add the bananas right before serving. They begin to soften almost immediately once mixed into the chaat.
If you don't have chaat masala you can add a pinch of salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper to help add flavor.
If you can't find pink guava juice you can use normal guava juice. If you can't find either use mango nectar.
No need to add sugar tot he chaat because the juice has plenty.
